A Symbol of Self-Determination. In a world where landlessness was created as a form of control, the effects home overturned the system. It used autonomy without consent. When a family conserved sufficient money to purchase land, your house would take a trip with them-- lifted, well balanced, and carried like a treasure. Neighbours got here with ropes, lever boards, and laughter. Kids ran next to the procession. Elders blessed the course with a peaceful nod.
" This is what you must understand," he stated. "We didn't await nobody to hand us identity. We construct it board by board."
And because simple truth lies the depth of the Barbadian spirit.
